Mulberry silk is made from the cocoons of the Bombyx mori moth silkworm which lives on an exclusive diet of mulberry leaves. Stronger than a steel thread of the equivalent diameter, this smooth round fibre feels soft against the skin and is 100% hypoallogenic.
Merino wool is one of the softest sheep's wools available, due to the finer, smaller scale on it's fibres. It has anti-bacterial properties and an excellent warmth-to-weight ratio. It absorbs up to one-third of it's weight, drawing sweat away from the skin and remains warm even when wet.
See our pattern section for a selection of vests, scarves, wrist warmers, camisoles, cardigans, jumpers and jackets which use this luxurious yarn.
