Recently it was used for a pattern in the Knit Magazine called Lily Jacket, a beautiful summer cardigan in silver and purple. “Your knits will be enriched with a subtle sheen using this yarn. For knits with a fancier-than-most look, yarn made from mercerised cotton is a top choice. This type of fibre has an attractive sheen that stand up well to repeated washing. And this particular mercerised cotton is light in weight, so it’s a good option for summer clothes, either knitted or crocheted.
